My buddies and I are going to start an education savings plan for the daughter of a recently deceased friend of ours. She is Thai and just 5 years old is there a education savings plan available here in Thailand to save money for her, we would be depositing maybe 4 or 5 thousand baht every month. Has anybody heard of something like this? Thanks

Why don't you send her to a boarding school and pay the fees yourselves?

Problem is if you set up a bank account or give the fees to her mother there's a good chance she will put her fingers in the till.
