webfact Posted October 7, 2014 Share Posted October 7, 2014 Police send murder case to prosecutorsBy Digital ContentSURAT THANI, Oct 7 -- Police early Tuesday sent the case on the murder of two British tourists on a beach in the Gulf of Thailand three weeks ago to the prosecutors for consideration.Pol Maj Gen Praveen Pongsirin, deputy commander of Police Region 8, who is also chief investigator in the case, forwarded police investigation report to the prosecutor's office on Ko Samui, an island also part of the southern coastal province of Surat Thani.The report was sent to the prosecutors after police were convinced that their evidence was sufficient and solid, and that legal action could be taken against the suspects now in police custody identified as Win and Zaw. Both men are Myanmar nationals and work on Ko Tao, the island where the murders took place.A third Myanmar man, also in police custody, is being treated as a witness in the case.The bodies of Hannah Victoria Witheridge, 23, and David William Miller, 24, were found on a Ko Tao beach early on September 15. Both were murdered while Miss Witheridge was also raped.On Monday, representatives of Myanmar embassy inspected the scene of the murders and the rented houses of the two Myanmar suspects on the island to follow up the case.Police informed them how investigation was made and confession made by the two suspects.Police again asserted that the two were not scapegoats. Also think about all the other Thai sickos with western women fantasies. "As a local village headman in Koh Tao announced to give one million baht cash reward to police if they have substantial evidence to implicate him and his family in the murder of the two British tourists" Seems that the police failed, despite the huge incentive, to claim their booty as they were unable to implicate anyone from his family with the crimes committed and had to make do with the two Burmese boys (who are the real killers and rapists) as they so freely keep on admitting to all-and-sunder!!!
