Pattaya villagers complain about Condo construction site in Central Pattaya

PATTAYA:--Complaints have been made to a local well-known developer of Condominiums by residents who are unhappy with the condition of a construction site in Central Pattaya and the environmental impact it is having on their village.

The construction of an 8-storey condominium is in its early stages, opposite the Nong Or Temple in Soi 9 off Pattaya Third Road but residents are unhappy at the condition of the site and the damage it has allegedly caused to the water supply to the village and the road surrounding the new construction.

A spokesman for the local residents, Khun Panom, requested on Tuesday that the problems should be highlighted via the local media as direct contact with the construction company so far has seen little or no action taken to rectify problems.

Khun Panom told us that during the initial stages of construction, workers severed a water pipe which cut-off the water supply to nearby houses.
