It is interesting how some people present their opinions here.

There are a few posters, Axel and adjan jb spring to mind, who never really have a lot to say, although they seem to think that they do. They show up, throw in a cynical world-weary remark once in a while, or a very simplistic answer to a complicated question. Then they disappear.

They suddenly throw in another quick one liner, and disappear again.

They want to get their two cents in. They want to poke the other guy in the ribs, however they don't go into detail about solutions to problems that they mention and they inevitably vanish before the other guy knows enough about them to poke back.

They want to let us know how clever they are, but, they don't seem to want to take any chance of falling over their own feet.

It seems strange behavior to me, because no one knows who they really are, anyway.

Well, to each his own.

adjan jb, you are what I call a Hit and Run poster. You answer with one liners, and never provide any depth to your answers. It seems rather cowardly to me. Could you respond to the two posts below and stop ignoring them?

By the way, Axel, actually stopped and answered a post seriously, and I was quite impressed. Are you capable of a real answer??

Just a small point.  Spain's terrorist bombing looks to have been Al Qaeda or an aligned group with ties to them.  Spain supported the USA.  Do you think if Spain had supported the USA in Afghanistan only, that AQ would not have been interested in punishing Spain?  Why does Iraq become the only cause of terrorist activity?

It is the easiest cause to rally western critics around, I understand.  But AQ was anti-US and anti-western culture before Iraq.  AQ struck at the world trade center, and then it promised to hit other targets after that.  But since the US has entered Iraq, it is like that has become the one and only reason that there is any residual terrorism.  And that would be a very shakey assumption.

Jeepz

This is not a small point. I would like to see adjan jb respond to this post, and also my question from before.

To put it differently, do you think that France stayed out of the war to preserve peace, or for their own economic interests?

Coincidence. While you were typing this post, i was responding to your question in another thread, the one about the Madrid bombings.

"Hit and Run poster"... I like this one. Thanks.

Jeepz's post deserves an answer. I agree. Jut give me some time: You have to take into account that first) English is not my native language and second) I'm not a fortunate son and i have to work for a living.

Adjan jb, how could you even be bothered, giving in depth answers, to a bloke who logs in and out under different names - give him one liners!

He posts then backs his own posts up with himself under a different name :o

It shows the merit of the man, that he invents another name to back up his lame posts - remember he is the educated one or as I like to call him - bored and out of work - I wonder if he is also honoluloo jimmy? :D , or maybe he is adjan jb???? :D

Whoever he is, he must be lonely to have to create his own make believe friends.

He is a baiter - but he is the "master" - let him talk to himself!

Perhaps the answer should be no.

Without joke, I am a little bit busy and had to spend the whole last week on a business trip to Singapore due to the sudden passing away of one of my stuff. (Mentioned this in another threat under 'health'.

And BTW, I am on the way to the airport for another biz-trip thaat keeps me for the rest of the week in Vietnam and down in the Mekhong Delta. Sorry, not the best way to concentrate on replies, sitting for 6-8 hurs a day in the car. Will come back, but it has to wait at the moment.

Bear with me, March is very busy around here.

Fair enough.

Dear Axel

Don't sweat it. You have already answered. This was directed towards adjan jb, who is in the process of doing so. :o

I refuse to be drawn into arguments with people who have absolutely nothing to say. Butterfly and the gentleman, you are not going to waste my time.
