p_brownstone
The only beef on earth is Kobe beef. But where to find in Thailand? alex Actually, true Kobe beef (more correctly called Tajima beef) comes from an ancient Japanese stock of cattle called "kuroge Wagyu" and is not exported from Japan. The cattle are raised on less than 300 small farms in Japan, the majority of which have fewer than 10 animals - hence the rarity and the fact that it is not exported. "Kobe style" beef is produced from a crossbreed of Wagyu and American Angus cattle raised and slaughtered, usually, in the U.S.A.. Patrick

lomatopo
Looks like a strange sort of T-Bone, broiled or boiled, not grilled.
aughie
Go for quantity at Fogo Vivo in Bangkok all you can eat Argentinian beef. Eat a couple of pounds of beef they don't care. With that much protein and no carbs ketosis will have you pissing gold!
JimGant
If that picture was taken in Thailand, it's an even chance it's water buffalo. (And if it were the 1960's, a 100% chance.) But, it tastes ok; a little chewy however. The wife still asks in restaurants advertising 'beef' whether or not it really is buffalo. Surprising the number of honest answers. Kobe Buffalo anyone??
