Yes, can own up to 49% of the total floor space in the building. The Juristic Person is supposed to keep careful records to keep the foreign ownership at or below 49%. So I think, yes, for Chonburi (Pattaya especially), a condo building could very quickly hit the 49% mark of foreigners, so a determined buyer might resort to forming a nominee company instead. I guess the same might be true for more expensive parts of Bangkok.
