Blimey. There's some jealousy on here today. Not a one of you would turn down someone willing to put the same amount of dosh into your club.

You are wrong mate.

Its only us Bitter Blues.

Everyone else would run a mile and would stop supporting their teams if it ever happened.

I am just waiting for teams like United and Arsenal to miss out on their so called targets, despite having offered millions and millions, and then be in denial and say that they are respecting FPP thats why they havent spent the money.cheesy.gif

United cannot attract players now because of Moyes and the fact they are on a downward turn.

Arsenal because they have a manager living in the past, are a team that the top players dont want to play for AND they have a stadium with no atmosphere.

Chelsea are now the danger club with Mourinho in charge. It will be between us and them for the trophies this year and I cannot wait, to be honestthumbsup.gif

Well maybe its Fabregas that Utd have up their sleeve. Can't see it myself but never say never. They HAVE to make a major midfield signing or they are going to be in all sorts of problems next season.

Man City legend Bert Trautmann has died aged eighty nine. Now there was one brave keeper. RIP Bert.

A hero of mine, I watched that cup final when he broke his neck, though I was only a kid, I spent to morning with my dad at St Pancras (I think) watching all the supporters arrive with their hats, big rosettes and rattles, plus listening to their strange language, it was wonderful.. Bert was a good goalkeeper a great ambassador and apparently a fine man.

RIP Bert,,,,,youre a legend.

Show me ONE publication, from anywhere, that backs up your claim?

I have given you about 8 DIFFERENT publications.

I suppose they could be all wrong and your thoughts are right, even though you have no proof.

Stop being a girlie. Man up and admit you were wrong.

Our new signings.................. Fernandinho will wear No 25 (normally wears 7, but that belongs to Milner)

Navas will wear No 15

Negredo will wear No 9 ( thats a clue in itself)

Jovetic will wear 35 ( normally wears 8, but that belongs to Nasri)

You are just coming over as a bitter Gooner, Chi cok.

Lets see what happens with FFP, shall we, rather than coming out with ill thought out statements.

We have reduced our wage bill and brought in replacements who we need, who are costing us LESS than our old players.

You are just p!ssed because you aint going to be winning anything for the next decade. Even Spurs are looking more likely than your lot

There is no FFP for Citeh, they are entirely dependent on a rich playboy who can rustle up the cash any time he likes, after all he is the brother of a dictator, isn't he?

I'm sure all of the citizens of Abu Dhabi are happy to see their national wealth being squandered on a boy's toy.

biggrin.png

Far from a dictator, and to be fair Chicog they actually look after the citizens very well. I wouldn't mind being born an Emerati, with half a brain you could make squilions.

Still they have an advantage with FFP, when they can do things like sponsoring their own stadium for well over market value.

Plusses for Milner, Nasri, Fernandhino

Minuses for Dzeko, Yaya and Lescott.

I dont see Dzeko getting much gametime based on that performance. He looked disinterested. The complete opposite to Milner who was a class apart from everyone else on the pitch.

I still have the same concern I had last season. We cannot take corners!! Not one chance created, in fact I dont recall a single header won from a corner!

I am not sure if Navas is a corner taker, but Nasri and Milner, even though they had good games, cannot take effective corners.

saw most of the game, again shocking surface and tbh china did a good job on you constantly hastled and wouldn't let u play, tbh , i expected a freshness from you but didn't see anything fresh or better than what mancini's team offered ,overall maybe a touch more power? but saying that perhaps silva and aggurro will give that extra bit, but they did or would have done last season given full fitness and a run of games. interesting t2 have a look but pre season friendlies frankly mean not a lot, just help towards match fitness.

Righto. Too many new faces and not enough time yet. Pellegrini just returned after being in Chile following a family death.

I do hope they dispatch Dzeko. His mind is like a big room without furniture.facepalm.gif

I made excuses for him last yr. Not enough gametime and maybe a dislike of Mancini.

But since Mancini left, there has been no improvement from him. He has played most of the minutes in the games I have seen him. He has missed chances and looks as if his mind is elsewhere. Lazy git, too!!

Not really Ed but never say never.

One thing i will say is without him and with your incumbent midfield (minus Ferguson) you are nothing more than top six, and a fighting top six at that.

Thats why i think theres an outside of you signing him. sheer bloody desperation
