farangsay
I heard they tunnel through the ground by chewing their way ahead , extracting the nutrients , and passing evrything else behind. This seems reasonable and explains worm casts. Also , how do you tell one end of a worm from the other. Put him in a bowl of flour and wait for him to fart. Hope this helps. sbk
A really good way to compost is by using a worm bucket: google it and you will get all kinds of descriptions. Basically, you need a bucket with ventilation and shredded newspaper. Add your leftover vegetable peelings and worms and they will eat their way through it giving you terrific compost. For best results use the Bangkjok Post and / or Thai Rath, you're already half way there. Patrick
chownah
Coffee grounds are great for worms. Don't drown your worms. If you start a worm bed in a container be sure to put a small pile of good garden dirt in a corner or somewhere so if they don't like something that you put in they can retreat to the dirt to avoid it.
