Just look at the Philippines recent Presidential flip-flop on China-love now playing out in the East Sea. Duterte blew hot and cold during his tenure. The incumbent is cold... for now. Malaysia is still delivering their "mixed signals" on trade and rapprochement versus offshore interference. Indonesia sat on their hands during a very recent offshore exploration harassment. Vietnam threw their towel in over 10 years ago, giving up on their deep water entitlements. Yes I can picture it now. A group of people sitting down and discussing whether to visit Thailand this year and one of them piping up about a 2-5 alcohol ban and they then decide to go to Bali instead. 🙄 Who in the history of Thai tourism has ever been put off coming to Thailand because of it, or would even know about in the first place ?
