My original visa was a single entry Non O based on taking care my son. I have extended this for 2 months already

at my local immigration, which allows me to stay in Thailand until 30th October.

I will be leaving Thailand for good with my son on 14th December (flights being booked today). Can I do a

border bounce on the 30th October and get 30 days and then do it again once those days are up which will give

me enough time until I leave on the 14th December?

I don't fancy the hassel of going to Laos and applying for another Non O so was wondering if this is possible?

Many thanks

Ubon will give you definitive info but I can't see why you can't do your visa stamp as suggested then extend it for 30 days. Esp with your plane tickets. Some people saying that its good to have 20k in your pocket.

You can do a border crossing and get visa exempt entry without a problem since you are not on one now. You will get 30 days if you are from a G7 country otherwise it will be 15 days.

You will not need to do another border crossing to get more time now. You can get a 30 day extension for a visa exempt entry at immigration. You could also apply for another 60 day extension to visit your child for the exempt entry.

You may even try to get another extension at your immigration-office until the day that you leave.

Your prove are the air-tickets.

There is no extension he can get other than a 7 day one. He has already done the one 60 day extension that can be done on an entry.
