craigt3365
Excellent article! I just put it in the pinned Airline Info thread. Love the graph with the analysis of the best time to buy a ticket. Very interesting. These things change all the time!!!
dinger
There was an article a month or so back that said there was no best day to purchase, so go figure

NanLaew
You has to toss your cookies before doing each search? Really?
craigt3365
You has to toss your cookies before doing each search? Really? It a theory. Do a google search on this: why clear cookies when searching for airline fares Lots of interesting articles. I've tried it and did see fares reduced. I don't think it matters with LCCs like AA and NOK, but definitely for the big boys.
californiabeachboy
An interesting article. I have flown CX from California to Bkk about 10 times in the last 4 years, and what I have noticed is that the prices do not change much from 2 months out to 6 months out (although they may change a bit from day to day, as the article suggests). But what does change is the quality of the connections/layovers. Once you get within about 2 months of departure, you might end up with an 8 hour layover in LAX after a 16 hour flight from Bkk!

Why I always book them separately. If I can't get a short layover, I'll book a long one so I can get some sleep.
