I have one booked for when i'm in the UK in a few weeks...are they a decent drive?

I drove one recently in Singapore , as far as I am concerned they are a good car.

You should be happy with the 508 as a hire car.

good or bad, its too late

Peugeot are reliable , I have a 307, never had any problems with it in the last ten years, they are comfortable, and fairy economical. the 508 is in the same mode.
