Dear TV posters

We all know that we have an issue with staying on topic. Almost every thread is cluttered with responses to a post but may have little direct relation to the OP. Soon enough the thread is off the tracks and, if moderators don't step in to clean it up, the thread becomes unreadable.

So...let's do this: Before you post in any thread, reread the OP and decide whether your response actually addresses it. If it doesn't, post it here instead. This will help keep the original threads on topic, allow moderators to breathe easier and give this thread the same readablitiy of most others after they get bogged down with nonsense.

Posting off topic items from another thread here actually will be on topic with this thread so it's win-win.

If we all did that there would be no forum at all.

Why don't you contribute a little more, say at least one post per year, before you start telling the real posters how to do it?
