Are Single Entry Non-O Visas Issued Indefinitely?

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone,

I am British and the father of a Thai child(boy) though separated from his mother and never married.

I know that I am entitled to a single entry Non-O with a 60 day extension based on being the father.

My questions are; once the extension is finished, can I leave Thailand and be issued immediately with another single entry with 60 days extension?

If so, I would like to know if this visa is issued indefinitely or is there a limit to consecutive single entry Non-O visas?

I know that I can receive a year's extension if I have B400,000 in a bank account. Unfortunately, I don't have that amount yet.

Many thanks in advance

There is no limit, clearly as long the requisite exists.

If you can achieve legalization station of your parenthood you may be issued a multi-entry visa.

How many non-o visas you could get would depend upon on where you get them. There have been reports of people getting several of them along with 60 day extensions.

You can get the 60 day extension with any kind of entry.

You cannot apply for a one year extension of stay unless you legitimize your parenthood.
