PATTAYA: -- Earlier in October two armed robberies took place at 7-Eleven Convenience Stores in the Jomtien area and on Thursday it was announced by Police that two men, thought to have committed both robberies had been arrested.

A press conference is due at Chonburi Police Headquarters on Friday but Police sources revealed on Thursday, a 21 year old man, Khun Pasook and a 16 year old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, had been arrested in front of a Whisky Shop in Jomtien, following a tip-off from a member of the public, who received a 20,000 Baht reward, which had earlier been announced as a reward for anyone who could provide information which would lead to the arrest of the two suspects.

Police questioning revealed that the two were planning to burglarize a house owned by a foreign man who was out of the Country. The two suspects knew that his Thai Wife was living alone in the house and was considered an easy target by the pair.

The 16 year old cannot be named for "legal reasons".............

If he is old enough to "steal" .....he is "old enough" to be named

This goes on in the UK as well

What a joke........no wonder crime is out of control......here and in other countries

ps ....and what "cowards" to harass and frighten the staff of a 7/11 with weapons.........these are usually just youngsters on meager pay who don't deserve this

The Thai police are not to be messed with. And thai people are mostly scared of the police. If you have been there you would see that people got theyr eyes on the groudns in front of them, as they passes an policeman. They have such respect for the police. That in many cases the purp just sing out in fear of being interogated. Have encountered Thai police. And just be nice when you do. Do not speak unless spoken to. When you are in Thailand. You have to act as you are on visit. It is not your land. And show it. And you will be liked by the locals. You do not want to be criminal in Thailand. Thats for shure.

And the fact they were targeting a foreigner's residence and prepared to do harm to his Thai wife should cause concern to everyone here and make them hesitate the next time they begin to bash the RTP.

Why?

Well that set of dots is so easy I would have thought a 3-year-old could have connected them.

Do I really need to help you with this one?
