ronthai
Hi, I need to send a full suitcase, with personal items (clothes and such) back to my friends home. He is not coming back to Thailand. Fedex and DHL are jst too expensive. So I think EMS. (Internet shows about 5000 baht for 20kg) Does anybody know if they allow suitcases or must it be in a EMS special box? Any additional advice and knowhow is of course also welcome
Stradavarius37
Sell them and tell your friend to buy new clothes.
daveAustin
If it were just clothes and such, I'd be inclined to go with regular mail, being sure to write 'old clothes and such' on the label. Haven't lost anything yet going that way over the years.
pgrahmm
Have sent 20k by box offshore but never tried a suitcase.....unless the suitcase is very special (then it might be a target) of course lockable might have an advantage......but just another box would go unoticed.....sounds like a medium to small suitcase - might be able to pack the suitcase in a suitcase later for someone elses trip out...... Wouldn't hurt to ask at the post office......
