November 4, 201411 yr A question for the Brits......Do they sell seaside rock in Thailand? I'm making a visit over Christmas and New Year and want to bring sweets for the kids, and I thought that rock might be a novelty for them. I cant really bring chocolate, it wont get to its intended destination until a week after my arrival and keeping it cool all that time would be too much hassle. I'm also going to bring bags of (Sainsbury's because its my favourite variety) flying saucers, again hopefully something new for them!
November 4, 201411 yr Does Chris Catlin, the former BHA manager still own a rock shop on the seafront? He did when I ran the Henekeys Steak House (now Hotel du Vin) in Ship St.

November 4, 201411 yr Never seen it there. Shame they won't be able to read the words. Would be good if they can make them with Thai writing, but I doubt it can be done.
November 5, 201411 yr Author Maybe some of those extra sour Haribos and film the reaction.. You're a cruel man tw25rw!
November 15, 201411 yr I always bring back a few bags of chewy Thai sweets (about 20 Baht per bag) and they always go down a treat. Coffee, various fruit, milk, mint & chocolate flavours. Steer well clear of the menthol flavours.
