TRAT — A Greek man has been arrested for attempting to murder a Russian tourist in southern Thailand, police say.

The suspect, identified as Pavlot Pevosiatis (name transcribed from Thai text), was arrested on the island of Koh Kood this morning as he was driving his motorcycle through a police checkpoint.

He was wanted by police on the southern island of Koh Chang for fighting and allegedly trying to kill a Russian tourist there “recently,” police say.

Well the easy way to confirm is to ask the RTP whether the Greek gentleman concerned has a badger under his arm ?....if yes then Costas

if its the Gentleman in the photo, I don't believe this is Costas, as the person doesn't have a dress on, pom pom's on his shoes and white knee socks, of course it could be that Costas disguising himself as a back packer and on a secrete mission to weed out and eliminate a Russian spy

That's two in two days for The BIB in Trat rounding up undesirables.

There is still a lot of confusion on this story. It may actually be that the guy is Russian. Will try to find out more

How on earth did the Greek enter the Kingdom without a passport???

My guess it was up the Khyber Pass, that's how most bubbles like it.

The surname is Greek.

The first name may be is Pavlos and not Pavlot.......may be lost in translation.

Could be his brother: Costas Brutalis?

Costas this is your big chance to be The Greek Cosulate.

A big wooden badger is more likely, judging buy the obsession that Greeks in Khon Kaen have with said mammal.

but present all over the forum...

Greek or Turkish, fair play to the dude. Anybody seeing off a Russian here makes me as happy as watching a Thai hooker opening a new box of ping-pong balls. giggle.gif

As soon as I saw the headline on my TV breaking news e-mail, I knew Costas was already catching hell! ( I was right! )

Thank you Sir,

We Greeks, never fight, never swear, never fart, never bash our wives, never try to kill other TVF members.

Why is attempted murder of a Russian even considered a crime??rolleyes.gif
