My cd player (Sharp) is not working and according to Google it is because the laser is too weak/not working. Do any of you know if there is anywhere in CM I can get it repaired?

Maybe too obvious but have you tried a cleaning disc?,

if not run it through a few times may just clean up the

laser.

Thanks for the advice but I can't do that as it just says no disc and will not turn.

Go past the Prince Hotel, turn right at the T, just on the left side is THE MAN and his shop. Good work, fair prices-sometimes very low.

If it's not turning, it's probably not the laser.

Maybe a belt or a cog, or even motor failure.
