BangkokHank
I live in Bangkok, but on the southeastern edge of town near Samut Prakarn. Can I do my 90-day reporting in Samut Prakarn, or do I have to do it at Chaengwattana? And if I am able to do it at Samut Prakarn, where exactly is the Immigration Office there? Thanks. Mario2008
You have to do it in BKK and can use 1 of 3 offices. You can also report by mail. http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/en/base.php?page=90days http://bangkok.immigration.go.th/intro1.html gives you 3 locations, (you can not use the One Stop Service). BangkokHank
Thanks very much, Mario. That Imperial World Lard Prao looks a lot closer to my home than Chaengwattana. I think I'll try that one today. (I see that they don't seem to close for lunch. That will be helpful.)
BangkokHank
So much for my comment about them not closing for lunch! I arrived there at 12:45, only to find that they close for lunch from 12:30 to 13:30. Why doesn't it occur to them to mention something like this on their website, where they mention their opening hours anyway? Don't they think that that is something that people might want to know? Anyway, it took me "only" three hours to go there, do my reporting, and return home. That compares to five to six hours when I do it at Chaengwattana. So this place is a definite improvement for me and I might be able to get my turnaround time down to 2 hours now that I know to avoid arriving during their lunch hour. Thanks again for the tip, Mario.
wayned
Doesn't CW accept mail in reports? I mail mine every time and only go to my local office once a year for a new extension!
Villapete
I live in Samut Prakarn and I do 90 day reports at Samut Prakan immigration. Usually takes 15 minutes.
