to whom it may enlighten as the wife said people do give ... He wants to teach us something and his wife confirms that Thai people do give food as outlined in his OP.

OP ... need to troll try harder.We were on an obbo between phu mhu and mukdaharn,we came apon a village we were soaking wet and knackered, an old thai man called to us, he said we looked tired and hungry ,to come to his house and eat, all he had was khao nheo and nam phrik, we gladly ate and spent the night at his house ,that was Thailand 50 years ago, we still meet the same generosity and friendship today!!!!!
