Drug War Mark Ii

Almost a week into the government's new war on drugs and no one has been shot dead shortly after leaving a police station yet (or anywhere else for that matter)

Are we seeing kinder, gentler mid-level drug dealers, who are no longer shooting their operatives because of concern that police might get the blame.

If the police get the blame, by implication, so does the government, which is still reeling from international criticism it got from its previous shooting gallery approach to solving the drug problem.

Nice to see drug traffickers are doing their best to patch up Thailand's international image.
