You can extend your current permission to stay for 60 days at immigration for 1900 baht. Reason "visiting your Thai family".

You should check the "entry before" date of the visa. Just make one last entry before that date to be allowed 90 days. These are extendable for 60 more.

The one year extension requires proof of funds or income.

If your visa has not expired yet (enter before date on visa) you can get another entry up to the day it expires for another 90 days.

You can do a border run on the 20th of January and get another 90 day entry. But I would plan on doing it on the 19th as a just in case measure.

Then at the end of that 90 days apply for a 60 day extension to visit you wife.

My enter before date is 20 jam 2015 but I'm admitted untill 11 Feb 2015 as I've just been to Ranong couple days ago ??

So to use your visa in full you can do one more entry on or before 20/1/15, then extend 60 days for Bt 1,900, that brings you to next June. Otherwise just extend current entry and you'll be good until May.

Ahhh ok so really my year visa would be a 15 month visa ??? Then after that apply for new one ?

It would be a visa that allows you up to 15 months of stay without needing to get a new visa.

But you can make it 17 months by getting the 60 day extension.

One more thing sorry ha ha

Would it be safe just to carry on going to Ranong ?

Yes Ranong is allowing border hops.
