Grand Palace, Wat Po, National Theater Questions

We will be visiting Bangkok in January and can't get closure on the following questions. We'd appreciate some help.

Grand Palace

1. Is the Throne Room (listed at the Grand Palace in the tour books) the same as the Abhisek Dusit Throne Hall (appears to not be at GP) or the same as the Coronation Hall (at the GP)?

2. We understand we can only see the magnificant Throne Room (or appropriate name, above) on weekdays. Do we need a reservation?

3. Obviously the Grand Palace is inundated w/tour groups…..therefore, are there best days and/or times to visit?

4. Where do we get the English Tours at the GP? How long do the tours last?

Wat Po

5. We've read that one can hire guides at the entrance to Wat Po . Is this a good way to do it?

National Theater

6. Where does one find the National Theater schedule for Jan. 2007? Either we missed it in Google or it doesn't have a web site.
