I set everything and I am sure I am approximately right.

But I feel unsure if I should make the saddle a bit higher or not. I have no clue if I should move the saddle horizontal.

As well the plates for the LOCK pedals. How can I know if it is the perfect position?

Or do I over-thinking things and that all is good enough when it is approx. right?

What's right is what feels right to you. Try what you have so far and make minor adjustments to see if it makes any difference in the way the bike feels. There are formulas online but they are just a starting point in my opinion.

Yes I used the internet tips as starting point.

Thanks....I think I am over-thinking it....

Of you're going to be riding a lot, it can be worth availing yourself of a bike fitting service. I used to have problems with my knees, no matter how I adjusted my cleats and saddle height. Went to a professional fitter and problems solved.

However, if you don't have a problem, then it isn't worth the outlay.

yeah I worry about one knee which isn't in perfect condition. I may start setting the saddle a bit higher and later reduce it a bit. Maybe safer for the knee.

At the moment I bike in the room on a roll to gain endurance, later I move the bike to the south. So it is easy to experiment but the roll is not real life....

Where do you went for professional fitting?

I'm thinking: we overthink this stuff. I'm more that happy [roadbike] to do a retul etc fitting, but I also accept what Steve Hogg does with his 'guru' methodology.

Someone, much smarter than me, once said: "If it feels good, do it". Sounds about right.
