RETIREMENT EXTENSION

Just been to Jomtien Immigration with what I thought were all the correct papers for extension, due next week. The only thing I did not have was WORK PERMIT CANCELLATION.

Can get it done on Monday, but Wednesday is a holiday, so cutting it fine.

You should have enough time.

What you need is letter from your employer that your job has ended on the the date you go back to immigration to cancel your current extension of stay.

Thaqnks ubon, but the guy at Immigration showed me an OFFICIAL looking form entitled CANCELLATION OF WORK PERMIT. Where's that from please

Hi Ubon, do I fill this in, and take it to Immigration with all my other papers please?

You would first go to the work permit office and to cancel your work permit. They will give you proof that it was canceled you can then show to immigration.
