Now just how many more lies are there to come and what magnitude will they be one wonders?

Now lets be honest to actually get the truth from the investigation results of the Thai police farce force would indeed be a more challenging task than herding cats

It would seem they have just told him in answer No 4 that they know nothing.

They would have every right to be scared if they did know who was involved for they are at the not so tender mercy of the police.

I hope the judge (s) are not going to convict them because they cant tell them who is responsible.

  1. Just spoke Wei Phyo/Zaw Lin in court. Both smiled innocently as usual, said 9 months in prison is a very long time for them. But seem strong

  2. Prosecution witness hearings set as 8th July to 28th August 2015. Defense witness hearings set as 1st September to 25th September 2015.

  3. Koh Samui court sets full witness hearing dates in Koh Tao case trial: 8th July to 25th Sept 2015. Total 18 days of witness hearings.

  4. Zaw Lin/Wei Phyo both replied strongly to the judge's question: 'We really don't know. We were drunk, just went back home. We know nothing.'

  5. Koh Samui court head judge just asked both Zaw Lin and Wai Phyo: 'If u not involved in this crime, tell us who is. Don't be scared.'

Has someone got their adding a little off here ?

8 July to 28 August not counting weekends = 40 days

1st September to 28th September = 19 days

Total 59 days

It would seem the prosecution has been given twice as long to present their evidence, perhaps this is because of cross examination.

Obviously boomerangutang is not looking for the truth, based on his compulsive repetition of the "Gang of 4 ...committed to shielding the Headman's people"

He's been told repeatedly that is not the case, he continues doing it, so he is not interested on the truth; he wants to convince himself of a "truth" that makes him look more righteous, facts don't get into it.

I would like to know the truth based on the truth.

The gang of 4 get mentioned on a regular outing as they seem to have this undenying belief of what the police release.

Ask yourself a question, Who would you fit as the most likely person to be the running man ? A Thai male or one of the 2 Burmese.

I'm not asking you to tell me again it was proved the Thai male wasn't on the island at the time. I'm asking you to tell me which of the 3 most resembles the running man.

Since the one you want to pin the ID on was not on the island at the time, it leaves only two options, of the two, in my opinion Zaw Lin has a resemblance to the man on the CCTV footage more than Win Zaw, specially the hairstyle (since then he had it cut).

If you want me to I can make another picture of one of the Burmese guys and it would fit perfectly.

And I bet you believe the single still image from a CCTV showing a particular person in his Uni is 100% kosher and unedited too?

We have not only one but several cctv footage showing him in uni and his condo in Banglok. Some people (you ) claim they have been manipulated, theres no evidence of that. However it does not give him a 100% alibi so that's why he finally agreed to do a Dna test. These are the facts and he has been cleared.

The DNA only cleared him of not having any sexual contact, it does NOT clear him of any other potential crime commited!!

But the boy was not on the island, he was in Bangkok so whats your point ?

Interesting to note that some of the ''happy ''Koh Tao crowd who were posting in the thread seem to somewhat conspicuous by their absence of late.

Now I wonder why that may be?

Told to pipe down as people were coming to look a little to closely at a clique that was mentioned in press circles yet has to a degree flown under the radar?

Perhaps we might soon get to the ''bottom'' of the matter.

Maybe they are celebrating Christmas ? Not everyone is so involved in this case that they spend Christmas day posting 5 pages on Thaivisa.

This is great too hear. I would like to thank all posters that believe a human life, no matter of their status in society deserves a fair chance at life.

I am grateful to see people are active in search for the truth, by discussing it here on this forum and other social media. I believe it is a revolution of some sort. Social issues will never be buried as it had in the past.

I am glad to see that there are people out there who cares about humanity and do not stand idle by and let our brothers and sister perish needlessly.

How ever effective this social media is, we have yet to learn. But at least it's able to pressure all government to look into the police statement.

I believe if this social action did not occur, the two would not have the courage to fight the allegations. And I am truly grateful that many decided not to wait till the trial started.

I think a lot of people raised great views which may have helped convince the Myanmar government to back the two. And most importantly gave courage to the two to fight. And I will continue to fight, as I want to bring the murders to accountability.

Now we need to keep the threads and actions positive.

The fact that the prosecution is now seen to be flawed given the illegal entry charge, something they obviously must have known about

but made the accusation anyway is indicative of their ethics and probably the weakness of their evidence in all the other charges.

To keep the threads on topic and moving forward we need as many posters who can to ignore the baiting of the so called 4, they are here merely to disrupt and deflect attention from the real issues, none of them debate so their contribution is zero.

So I am asking please hit the ignore button or do not answer their posts. Please, for the sake of focusing on the B2, lets try to do it.

Indeed. Furthermore at the bottom of the BBC page (link provided) you will see a bunch of links to newspapers such as the Independent covering the story.(look for 'From other news sites' heading) On many of these newspaper websites there is an opportunity to comment at the bottom of the KT articles. Get on those newspaper sites and start awakening the UK public to what is going on with this circus. These are all very recent stories (within past few hrs)

I fully Agree with you DennisF the only way is to not reply to the group of 4 Boy's minders and give these B2 a chance to defend them selves without the group of 4 flooding the internet and protecting a person that many people have serious doubts about.

This very unreasonable group of 4 should take a hard look at themselves and look at the hate that is directed at them.

Many people have expressed concern and asked why are they covering for a certain person it is not normal and has been going on from the time a certain person was accused .

Don't let these posters ruin our threads with their main aim of protecting 1 person , this group don't care if the B2 don't get a fair trial or get the death penalty .

Just ignore or don't reply is best.

Thailand tourist murders: Judge postpones witness hearings

The judge in the trial of two Burmese men charged with the murder of two British tourists in Thailand has postponed witness testimony until July.

Zaw Lin and Win Zaw Htun, both 21, are accused of killing Hannah Witheridge, 23, from Norfolk, and David Miller, 24, from Jersey, on the island of Koh Tao.

The judge's decision was made during initial proceedings of the trial, in the neighbouring island of Koh Samui.

Thai prosecutors say they have a strong case. Both men deny the killings.

They could be executed if they are found guilty.

Brought forward

The bodies of Miss Witheridge and Mr Miller were found on a beach in the popular tourist destination on 15 September. Mr Miller died from drowning and a blow to the head, while Miss Witheridge died from head wounds.

According to previous court documents, both men, who are migrant workers, have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder, rape, criminal cover-up, illegally entering Thailand and staying in the country without permission.

They are custody in Koh Samui and the judge thinks they would not be under threat if they name the headman of Koh Tao or his family - what a farce.

You've made it clear you believe the alibi. Yet, you apparently didn't convince anyone. I would be the first to 'leave the kid alone' if there weren't a slew of factoids (some of which could be termed 'evidence') which incriminate him. There are also intriguing things which incriminate Mon, Mon's cop friend, and the so-called 'Stingray Man.' Those issues don't go away simply because the 2nd head man decided 'all of a sudden' () the perpetrators had to be Burmese. The RTP can claim the Headman's people are not suspects (have they actually articulated that? source?), but the RTP's credibility is lower than Pinnocio's.

Why instead of shutting people up because you say so you provide a cite for the claim that Nomsod's father left Koh Tao on the morning after the murders?

I think you may want to re-phrase your question. We're not concerned whether Nomsod's father left the island. It's his son's whereabouts which are of concern.
