narkeddiver
My wife's office has 3 pcs - one is plugged into a UPS and the UPS is located next to the PC (maybe 3 or 4 cm away). This PC intermittently freezes once or twice everyday and needs to be powered off and on to resume working The other 2 pcs are fine, however when they are switched to the same location they develop the same fault Is it possible that the proximity of the UPS to the pc is causing the glitch? NeverSure
Heat? Do the PC's have good fresh air circulation?
Crossy
Probably not interference, but try moving the UPS away anyway.
rakman
move the ups to one of the other PCs and see if the problem moves.
craigt3365
My PC use to freeze and I took it into the shop for look. I guess it was one of the boards that wasn't seated properly. They cleaned up the contacts and I've not had any problems since then. Mine is right next to the UPS and I've got heat monitors, so nothing wrong with the heat. Gregory Morozov
Yes, it is possible, but much more likely that the voltage that this UPS supplies is unstable or wrong, or has a really bad waveform. I've seen many Thai UPS internals, and schematics and parts quality of many of them are not the best...
