Admin office has lost details/paperwork.

A few years ago under the last Dem government, there was a plan to re-assess the land. My wife has/had 25 rai of Tor Bor 5. She took her paperwork in as requested, and the office stopped collecting the rent on the land. Then last year a rumour emerged the process was cancelled. So people went for their documents, only to be told there were no records. Does anyone know if anything can be done?
