"Various sock puppet accounts appear on online message boards such as Thaivisa.com attempting to derail commentary on the incident and the character assassination of the only witness begins."

I wonder who this guy is referring to? laugh.png

Out of curiosity ; what is the source for that quote?
That was in an article by Andy hall or someone like that at the beginning. Probably right after you started posting in these threads.
Not 100% sure although I suspect it's from the Mikes travels blog about Koh Taos secrets

It is from a blogger that is nowhere near Koh Tao.

And you are?

Nothing funny about it. It is fair usage.

If this wasn't so OFF TOPIC I would actually put you right on that, yes its funny and utter nonsense

If you say so. Perhaps I am mistaken about forum rule #14

aaah forum rules, very different from DCMA's and copyright notice's, try again, and in future ensure you stick to forum rules when making any quotes, I will check for you if you like and remind you. Now before I report this for being off topic..............

So getting back on topic about the trial being moved forward. The trial for the will not be about nomsod or the phone or the pants or even the dna on the 18th. These boys should compile a minute by minute account of where they were and what they were doing. They then should have Andy or a friend find as much evidence as they can to back that up. Surely there must be some video of them going back to the room. The guy who found them sleeping should be called as a defence witness not a prosecution witness. There must be other witnesses who talked to them that morning. They will fight the prosecution evidence later. I don't remember will not cut it.if they are innocent they must tell the judge every detail that they know.

Right so you instantly dismiss peoples opinions despite the fact they have been to Thailand but because don't live here they're nobodies?

Your arrogance knows no bounds you strike me as a typical faranag who thinks he's more Thai than Thais.

I couldn't give a rats ass If a person who has only been here once and seen negative stuff and writes about it over some bloke who's lives here a long time but chooses to keep his head in the sand and talks fluent Ostrich!!

He, like you has an opinion he speaks less favourably about Koh Tao, but you are like a TAT promotions officer, he is less than complimentary and there you are defending the establishment with your belittling comments about others.

What goes around comes around !

And important to show that they already passed a first dna test and were cleared.

Belittling comments about others? Perhaps you should read your post again.

The didn't and they weren't so why do you persist in spreading misinformation?

Besides that, replying to yourself, what's up with that, you forgot to switch user?

Sean was on the island briefly, so were the UK police, so was Hannah and David, each received their own experiences, albeit the most tragic imaginable for 2 of them. Mike was on the Island for how long? Enough to write an article and share that article on his site that subsequently got shared because of his reputation to dozens of other sites. Believe or dismiss the article at will, that's the choice for any individual to make, but belittling the article shows other intentions and giving an excuse that he was on the island for little time would hardly stand up in court if there was information in there that was important or could be verified.

Talking of McAnna - he said he was hungover and did not see/meet with David Miller the evening of the murders:

but...

Sept 23 – International Business Times:

Thai police say the man on the left of the photograph matches the one seen acting suspiciously on CCTV.

A Scottish man being kept in custody claims he saw two Thai men trying to molest 23 year old Miss Witheridge before Miller intervened to stop the pairs advances hours before they were found murdered.

Jesus, either you fail to read an example made of how little bearing it is to state that somebody was on the Island for a short time or you enjoy baiting because you have nothing better to do. I gave an EXAMPLE

I believe Sean knows a lot more and may have also been involved in some way in the actual incident, but I fear the truth may never come out. I'm really surprised there have been no reports of the UK police questioning him, may be they have but not reported it?

I believe that is speculation, something you said you were stopping until after the trial.

I know I get in the way of your propaganda and baiting of others posts but I'm not going away until there is a fair and transparent closure to this.

Nobody is suggesting that you go away, just live up to what you said regarding the parents wishes (speculation)... After all, it was your statement.

No vested interests on my part, but thanks for clarification on your about face regarding the families wishes. I understand that some people have an intense need for it not to be the 2 Burmese men who are defendants. Such a strong need that they will ignore the only statements coming from the families. The only statements from those who were briefed by the UK police. These same people will ignore the fact that the families statements proved that sub judice doesn't apply. Thus we have no valid reason not to have heard from others.... But hey...

BTW - you do realize that you compared yourself to the RTP :) don't you?

So if it wasn't the the scapegoats that passed the first DNA test and and you can accuse greenchair of spreading misinformation who were the 3 Burmese guitar players that did?

You must have there names.

Umm, trolling, baiting, I have to admit, you are very good at it! But why can you not understand that the way this is going, there is no way that it is going to be a "fair and transparent" trial? (Buzz words of the moment)

But there again, as you say, this is Thailand and the law works differently here - Prosecution 1 Defence 0 and the "game" hasn't even started yet!

There you go deleting the interesting topic of conversation I put. Just picking out the bit that suits you. Same as you pick the bit of police report you like.

Yes, the news report clearly states 3 burmese were tested and cleared. The b2 must focus on finding their own evidence.

No, I don't have the names, how about you find out about this 3 Burmese guitar players that passed the test? You won't, because this "fact" is nothing but the result of conspiracy theorist tripping over each other to reach for conclusions.

They conflated one report of some Burmese men that were detained, DNA tested and released with another report of the police looking for three men with a guitar, seen on the scene of the crime singing and drinking (two of those now being the men currently on trial), hey presto! a new piece of misinformation is born.

3 more days to file. The evidence of both sides will be revealed. The b2 will need to prepare themselves well. Surely there must be a witness that saw them go back to the room. If they had any part in this even a small part. They just better fess up to everything now.
