Koh Tao murder trial date brought forward by 2 months

3 more days to file. The evidence of both sides will be revealed. The b2 will need to prepare themselves well. Surely there must be a witness that saw them go back to the room. If they had any part in this even a small part. They just better fess up to everything now.

Of course theres more witnesses to this, too scared to come forward though and that poses one of the biggest problems for the defense team to get a fair trial

What kind of game are you guys playing at? If you believe that the two Burmese guys that have been arrested and charged for the rape / murders are guilty, fine. Why do you feel the need to try and convince the rest of the posters on this board? What's with the obsession on obvious display here? Why do you feel the need to respond to practically every post that suggests that the B2 might be innocent?

The defense that you guys are putting up for the prosecution's case is way, way above and beyond what can be reasonably expected of a casual bystander without vested interests. I'm sure that there are other posters who believe / think that the B2 are guilty. But they do not hound these board 24/7 with pathetic deflections and pedantic statements.

It is obvious that the three of you have more than a passing interest in this matter. I don't expect that there will be a straight answer from any of you (there hadn't been one for the last thousand posts).

Oh, gee... the "you must be a shill for the island headman" insinuation again.

How about, instead of getting all flustered and flinging baseless accusations you recognize that you were wrong about the Burmese men having been DNA tested and cleared before their arrest?

After you do that maybe you can go and question the motives of people that spread misinformation regarding this case.

Andy Hall makes a huge work for trying to get some justice in the forthcoming trial. On his twitter account he has just released some information and requests following a briefing with Khun Nakhon Chompuchat, head Koh Tao case defense lawyers team :

(1) Defense lawyers Koh Tao case complaint to Corrections Dept not provided adequate facilities for meeting with accused in Koh Samui prison.

(2) Police provided special open space, defense lawyers restricted room with plastic screen/telephone so can only speak accused one at time

(3) Defense team hoping court 26th Dec will understand significant challenges faced by defense team lawyers/will be flexible managing case

(4) Lawyers hope court will set down realistic case timeline based on lack of advance disclosure prosecution case/limited access to accused

(5) K. Nakhon concerned police/investigators maybe ceased investigating Koh Tao murders and focusing only on two accused Zaw Lin/Wai Phyo

(6) K. Nakhon considers many outstanding public suspicions and investigation should still continue to explore other possible perpetrators

(7) K. Nakhon said legal team calls particularly Myanmar community to work much harder to ensure witnesses for trial/ensure justice and truth

(8) K. Nakhon warns Myanmar community to use full censure power/pressure to ensure no false witness assists prosecution for personal benefits

And some still dare to think that the trial will be fair and unbiased !

No, you just conflate things that happened at different times, to different people, into one single misconception. Can't blame you what with the volume of misinformation that people that claim to want to know the facts keep peddling.

Yes, the volume of misinformation is overwhelming indeed.

Why don't you do us all a favour and tell us what the facts are? I'll assist by stating the well known and undisputed facts:

1) The B2 were on the island of KT at the time of the murders

2) ...er.... er.... (help me out here)

The fact related to that post in particular is that there is not a single report that the defendants in the court case provided samples for DNA testing and the results were a negative match before they were arrested. Many have claimed that to be true, nobody can substantiate the claim in any way.

Do you realise that your attempts at deflection merely make you less credible?

Let's not refer to any particular post or speculation. Would you care to highlight the facts (as you see them) for me and some other interested posters?

A continued attempt at deflection will really show you up.
