tiresias
I've been looking at some apartment rentals in Chiangmai. It seems that what's advertized as a 1br is really a studio. A 1br is supposed to have a separate room for sleeping (i.e., 2 rooms), but this doesn't seem to be the case from many of the photos I've been looking at. Can somebody straighten me out? Diplomatico
From what I can tell the terms studio and 1br are used interchangeably here. Even if the bedroom is a "separate" room, in many cases it's basically a studio with half of a wall that makes the "bedroom" separate. There seems to be a big gap between the 35-40 sqm apartment category and the 90 sqm apartment category with very little to be found in the middle.
yankee99
Just look for 80sqm up and that'll save you from wasting time
