toryboy1979
In the New Year I am thinking of moving to Pattaya and would like to rent a house somewhere between North and South Pattaya Roads and preferably within a Moobaan complex. I do not want to be on the darkside because of transport difficulties as I only have sight in my left eye due to an injury, so nearby bus routes will be an advantage. I will be living alone and I have no interest in renting a condominium. Can anyone advise me if there are moobaans in this area and are they predominantly Thai or do some have English speaking residents. A single story house with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms is the minimum requirement as I will be having visitors from the UK and the US from time to time. Helpful and useful advice would be most welcomed. Many thanks

craigt3365
There are dozens of housing estates in that area. It's quite a large area. And many are not easy to find. Here's a few places to start with some research. The listings are not always up to date, but it gives you an idea of what's out there: http://www.pattaya-property.net/?p=search〈=&id_type=14&beds=&baths=&id_location=1&id_for=2&formprice=&id_owner_st=&x=60&y=5 http://www.fairproperties.com/houses_for_rent.htm

Could be! I've never found the online listings to be up to date anyway. But at least you've got an idea of some villages and what prices might be like. Nothing like getting out there and checking these places out in person!
