I HAD ED (that doesn't sound right..).. things that helped me regain (unneeded erections in the wee hours of the morning) my youth were losing weight, changing my diet, exercising more and quit drinking Leo - and all beer, amazing what those 4 things can do for a farang's pecker..

Did I also mention.. oh never mind..it's rule number one anyways..

A few colon hydrotherapy (water enema) about 3 per week for 2-3 weeks. This will help remove excess built up crap which (among other things) is affecting your prostate gland.

In lieu of a pump, a penis stretcher may be more appropriate. This is something that would have to be done SLOWLY over 2-6 months to get any practical results.

You can combine this with doing kegals or pc clamp exercises; the muscle that you use to urinate (or hold back urine) can be used to hold back your ejaculation/increase blood flow to the penis. Start with 100/day (1-2 per second) and work from there. This can be done without a stretcher, pump, etc and can be done silently almost anywhere.

They all work on the same principle. The vacuum pulls blood into the penis and then a rubber or silicon ring is slipped around the penis to prevent the blood from flowing back out

Theoretically this sounds good and effective but in reality it is the pitts. First of all if the ring is keeping the blood from returning it is also minimizing what can flow out ie. the ejuculate has a difficult time getting past the restriction

Secondly, since the ring cannot be removed until the blood in the penis has decreased naturally via absorption you are stuck with a hard penis for up to an hour or more until your penis returns to a flaccid state and the ring can be removed

Sorry but IMHO and experience even the "medical grade" pumps are not worth the plastic that they are made from

There are straps with snaps or velcro that you can easily remove before the erection subsides. But, not sure they are available in Thailand.

ED is not to be taken lightly.

It's a sign that your blood is not flowing correctly in you body and is now considered as an early sign of cardiovascular disease.

If it's not flowing freely into your penis, it soon won't be into your heart and brain.

There are strap on dildos but no such thing as a strap on penis pump

Jelqing is not what you need if you are considering a pump. Previously there was only one option, the vacumn actuated pump. These are fine and as other said you use a ring to maintain the effort for a period after. However, they now have water based pump, such as Hydromax/Bathmate, etc.(http://www.officialhydromaxpump.com/) I use these to terrorize my wife not for ED, so they do work. These items allow a more relaxed bathroom effort and you can use a ring, or not. Which ever choice you use be sure to actually talk to a doctor about this. Why?

Often people with these difficulties may have diabetes or more likely blood pressure problems. Since a great many BP issues can be modestly addressed with lifestyle changes you may find you need a "helper" rather than some life saving tool for down there. This is of course better. It is also better for your mental well being to realize, perhaps, that you are making changes to the way you have lived life for a long time and whatever tool you use is temporary as, with the doctors guidance, you are making diet and exercise changes that are increasing libido and blood flow/retention. Don't feel bad to use the pump, do the homework, but you may get the wifey insisting on it always in the future (Wink). I wish you luck in managing such a personal affair. I am so pleased all the responses I have seen so far were helpful and useful. My best to you.

Based on some of the subsequent posts, maybe I wasn't clear about the types "quick release" rings: see this link for some examples. No velcro there, but some other designs that would prevent being "stuck with a hard penis for up to an hour or more." TMI? Yeah, probably. whistling.gif

The quick release types that you show in your link are nothing but sex toys and are in no way designed for erectile dysfunction but are merely aids to delay ejaculation for an already hard penis

Unless you have been prescribed a medical grade penis pump you really don't know what you are talking about so you shouldn't be spreading incorrect information

Penis rings are also used to extend the period of erection, not just to delay ejaculation, but I bow to your superior knowledge of medical grade penis pumps.

ED need not be the entire lack of being able to achieve an erection (for which a pump is required), it also includes the symptom of briefly attaining erection but not retaining it*, and for such situations the "sex toys" work admirably and the ones I mentioned provide a release mechanism so as to not be stuck with a hard penis for up to an hours or more. Would one not also be usable in conjunction with a medical grade penis pump?:

*Erectile dysfunction (impotence) occurs when a man can no longer get or keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse.

Geez, it is like describing an elephant to a blind man

What part of vacuum are you having a hard time understanding?

The vacuum pulls blood into the penis. The rings are of various sizes to specifically fit your penis, too large and the blood won't stay, too small and the vacuum can't pull the blood up. Since we are talking about a vacuum here it must be an air tight seal, so you must use the appropriate ring provided with the pump. You can't just take off the pump and then put on one of the "sex toy" rings you cite. It must be done simultaneously after the pump has pulled the blood into the penis, break the seal, loose the blood in the penis. It is a system, not a bunch of parts used independently

Since you are not the OP, you are just arguing for the sake of arguing, just like a real Thai Visa Warrior

I'm married to my penis pump. She works really, really well. I've never suffered from ED. She's a little pricy though, but I love her anyway. She's an older model, but the vintage models work like a champ!!! Well, in my humble opinion. thumbsup.gif
