DavidMavec
Hello... I am wondering if anyone knows of a good Christmas buffet 12/25 in Udon Thani, maybe at a nice hotel or something like that? Cheers!

Max in Udon
Book store does a traditional Christmas Dinner/ Lunch for 795 baht. 3 courses plus a glass of wine. The food is really first class. You can PM me for a copy of the menu, and, no, I don't work for the Bookhouse.
yesdavy
It would be well worth the very short drive down from Udon to Krenuan near Nam Phong and visit Castle How Chow resort. The owner is British and his international restaurant is one of the very best in all of Thailand, or elsewhere for that matter. Every year he puts on a Christmas dinner and stay package that, if not preempted by other family obligations, would be my number one priority. He has info on his Christmas festivities here. If you go, you will be glad you did, guaranteed. Oh, and it is a great place for kids and families. He has this huge saltwater pool and beach that kids love. Ask for one of the individual 'A' frame bungalows if you stay there. The rooms are modern and impeccably clean.
Honkeydog
I asked the same question awhile back and came up with The Irish Clock in UT. They have 3 sessions (Sittings to eat) on Christmas day. Cost is a reasonable under $500 baht. Better Google them and get signed up there is a limit on number of people each sitting. socksy01
Steve and Mali's T Bar. You won't get better for a set meal, not buffet. No accomodation. Three sittings per day 24th, 25th and 26th.
