PATTAYA: -- A pair of suspected street robbers were caught by Pattaya Police on Wednesday afternoon and later claimed that they desperately needed money to celebrate the festive season with their friends and decided committing a crime would raise the necessary funds.

Khun Jetsada aged 18 and Khun Wittaya aged 19 are alleged to have snatched a gold necklace from around the neck of Khun Rungfah aged 28. She was driving her motorbike along Soi Buakhao in Central Pattaya and was on her way to collect her foreign boyfriend when the two suspects pulled up beside her on their motorbike and the passenger leant over and snatched the gold necklace.

Does anyone suggest to these morons "Need money? How about get a job and earn it!"

I am very pleased to hear that the police were busy and doing their job so well on Xmas eve, of course as it is not really a local holiday, why not.

Please have a heavy presence on New Years Eve too.

The thugs will.

....'desperately needed money to celebrate'.....

...when will this perversity stop.......

...confess with an infantile excuse......and be let off........???

coffee1.gif Take their phones away (in pic) and they will never commit another crime. Hit em where it hurts!clap2.gif

After reading this headline, I think I better prepare for the Easter bag snatchers and the Songkran pickpockets.

I think it's great that the police caught them. How many people have been severely injured or killed by this kind of robbery. That foreign lady in Bangkok comes to mind..tragic.

Talking about perversity...

Another good job by the police , lets not forget that among all the bashing they get.

As much as police are maligned for there corruption (and rightfully so), they are remarkably productive and effective

when they want to be. Job well done by the BIB. thumbsup.gif

And dont forget that the bashing is well deserved....
