Border Police Officer involved in road crash in Central Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- Just before daybreak on Sunday, Police and medics were called to the scene of a single-vehicle road crash on the Central Pattaya Road where a pick-up containing 3 people crashed into a Traffic Light control box.

The driver, a Border Police Officer based in the South of Thailand, and two passengers, his Wife and Child, were unhurt but taken to Hospital as a precaution.

Police Senior Sergeant Major Chaiyan aged 52 had driven his Isuzu D-Max pick-up truck from Nakornsritammarad Province in the South of Thailand to Pattaya in order to visit his Sister who works in Pattaya.

On the way, the driver stopped to sleep but was complaining of tiredness when they arrived in Pattaya.

I'd say the driver stopped because he was asleep.

No breath test? oh right cops Thai cops obey the law.cheesy.gif

I'd say the driver stopped because he was asleep.

But then you don't know anything about the incident at all as evidenced by your ignoring that the driver was known to suffer from epilepsy and that his wife, presumably, reported that he had a fit.

Perhaps it was obvious to the police that, either, he hadn't been drinking or perhaps they did administer a breath test?

More importantly, what happened to the Traffic Light control box?

Good to hear that everyone is alive and no serious injuries. If this had happened during the day in the heavy traffic it could have been fatal.

Sorry I have to comment.

Did you see the line where he had a sleep on the journey before taking over driving again?

Did yo see the line where he had epileptic fits?

A law unto themselves.

Unbelievable Thailand

They even write this stuff.

Yeah yeah, just like Moo Ham and the brakes happened to fail at precisely the same time too. Always an excuse.
