When I first read the topic,I thought it was a wind up...... They have been issueing these since last march in Bangkok ( I have one ) looks like the new UK one.

Been a while longer than that. I just renewed my expired 5 year licence and it was a smart licence.

Yep you are right,,,I got one as I said in March last year. As for age,I have no Idea how long.or up to what age you can have one in Thailand my mother in the UK gave up driving last year in the UK

She is now 93

She gave up by herself ,she was pissed of with the standard of driving he he True but a very good excuse
