Mister Fixit
Well, his case was quickly rushed to the OAG - what's happened to the stalemated case of a certain former female Prime Minister ...?
slapout
In Thailand, the truth is like the wind, Lese mejeste had to be cited in the majority of the charges which diminishes their credibility. may just be a case of using a avenue requireing the least amount of effort by investigative crew. The bib as well as most public servents seem somewhat work brittle on most endivors they undertake, unless self intrest is a factor, of course. i would not agree that other charges lose credibility due to lese mejeste charges, the good ex cib chief is a perfect example of what is so sinister (polite term) about the entire rtp organization. lets just hope this swing of the bat is just the first of many and that each hit is just as solidly adminstered. these type only understand pain and the sooner and the more applied the faster to clean up a festering cesspool which has surviveed way too long.

ezzra
Since the dawn of the ages, it has been known that people who made tones on money, be it legally or not, also made tones of enemies, some more powerful, greedier and smarter than them, It's a fallacy to think that in this country, you can get billions of baht illegally with impunity, someone, someday, will get you... marcusd
Hiding behind fabric illusions of Legality to hide criminality sanctioned previously where no action was taken really makes one wonder if anything will ever change. the thing I know is uncorrupted is my hard drive. Everything else I just plod along. Wherever there are people there are bad things happening. What a disgraceful race we are. IMHO - since they had to resort to "lese majeste", they probably do not have evidence that could withstand the scrutiny of the courts (guilty or not). The LM charge means they can try him behind closed doors in a military trial where all the public will ever here is that he was found guilty and the sentence is X years, or hanging or whatever. They will not let this guy have any chance to speak openly....
Sviss Geez
As always, this is a case of opportunity. Many others are guilty,,,why this one? None of them has been to court yet so no-one is guilty yet. This is just the first, possibly because he was the admitted leader and considered to be the most important case?
