  • 20 month old children shouldn't be using tablets. They should be running around outside, playing with toys. Do you really want to stunt your child's development? http://www.reviewjournal.com/life/

TOTALLY agree, let the kid grow up a little before you worry about a Tablet. My Son in Law got a Tablet for my 20 month old Grandson. Now all he does is play with it ALL the time. Shame how technol

  • Actually have to agree with the above posters. 20 months is WAAAAY too young to start him on that road.

You could not go far wrong if you were to purchase an Asus 7 inch tablet for around 4000 baht. However, it may also be a good thing to purchase with the tablet a screen protector and a case, to minimise damage if dropped.

Agree with that. There are some soft foamy cases for kids. They need to be slightly thicker for better grip.

There are some very good kids apps and parental controls on play store. Check them out.

Of course, limit the time your kid plays with it and make sure enough other activities take place...

..at that age, read a story to your child but if you are a hightech freak then teach him some programming language, "Basic" is a good start. so many tablets in the market (all price range), just pick up one you like. Android is good and cheap.

Nabi Jr. tablet is excellent, I bought mine on Ebay and it was efficiently shipped from the US to Bangkok. My 3 year old absolutely loves it

its also the apps and if they are FUN .....,,,whatever that means to a youngster

and even when kids attention spans are short at least they are doing something and not just being a TV zombie.....

but I think regular toys are just as good

If brain development does not concern you maybe this video will start you checking on radiation.....

Phew, looks like I got in just before the tin foil hat brigade. Saw that one coming.
