Hi - sorry if this has been covered already, I can't see it.

I arrived on 15th Dec on a UK passport and have a mix of previous Non b and tourist visas in it. I arrived with no visa and got 30 days visa exempt at PIA. I have seen on here that it is now possible to get 30 days extension instead of the previous 7 days?? Is this in fact the case and are Phuket Immigration aware and implementing that policy?

If so is it 1900 thb and what else do I need? Is there a a form online i can download before going??? Is it straightforward with no flight info, funds on travel itinerary needed?

Last but not least, if i was to get it now, would it start from the date of application of from the expiry of the existing 30 days?

Thanks in advance.

Bring a receipt of the place where you're staying in case you're asked. Photos in case you don't want to use the shop there. All extension are added at the end of current allowed stay.

!. Completed TM7 form with one 4cm x 6cm picture attached. It can be downloaded here, PDF works best. It's a douible sided form and has to be printed as such.

2. Copy of the bio page of your passport and copy of the page with your visa exempt entry stamp.

3. Copy of your departure card, TM6 form.

4. 1900 baht.

5. The 30 days will be added to the end of your current permission to stay.

6. You could be asked for proof of address, a ticket exiting Thailand during the 30 days and proof that you have money to live on, at least 10000 baht. It's up to the IO when you apply, so dress smartly and smile. Good luck!

Note all the copy and photo items can be done at the copy shop behind the office. That is usually more convenient that getting them before.

When doing a 30 Day extension for your 30 VOA no address registration is required.

There is no 30 day VOA they are only for 15 days and can only be extended for 7 days.

A visa exempt entry can be extended for 30 days.

Your right, I meant 30 day exemption off-course.
