Johnniey
I have 3 mice and none of them are working on any of my 3 computers or my CCTV box. 2 of the mice have red lights that come on but just don't work. I recently changed to windows 8 but have been working fine until now. Any ideas?

draftvader
None work on any of your computers. That is just bad luck. Do you know anybody with a working mouse you can use to check on your computers?

lopburi3
Are they USB or Wireless or the old serial type? We are guessing as USB is most used today - but many new units are wireless so have to have receiver in the USB slot. But cheap mice are often prone to work-stoppage. So would not rule out them all being bad - must have been a reason you bought new mice? Do you have a touchscreen by chance? Some websites do not work with mice if you do (they default to touch). even in Windows 7. DTAC is a good/bad local example.
lostinisaan
I'd show them Fat Freddie's cat....................... You might not get the drivers for the mouse. Check under " Device Manager" if your system detects your mouse. Update the driver online, by right clicking update driver online. If that doesn't help, please try cheese.
