PATTAYA: -- Police and Firefighters were called to a luxury home in the Pratamnuk Hill area in South Pattaya early on Monday Morning to deal with a house fire.

The house, located in Soi Kasetsin 11, is occupied by a British Family and it is thought an earlier argument between two members of the family led to the fire which is thought to have started due to a lit cigarette being placed on a bed.

Authorities arrived and spoke with Mr. Steven Brewster aged 49 and his partner Miss Louise Morrison aged 43, who are staying at the two-storey house with Mr. Brewsters Son and Daughter-in-Law.

On Sunday Night at around 10pm, neighbors reported hearing shouting coming from the house. It is thought that Mr. Brewster was arguing with Miss Morrison. Just before 7.30am on Monday, Security Guards at the village where the house is situated were alerted to a smell of burning coming from the house.
