The Government Pension Fund has 305 billion baht now

The Government Pension Fund (GPF)’s money has doubled after five years in service.

GPF Secretary-General Wisit Tantisunthorn (วิสิฐ ตันติสุนทร) said he was proud to be able to manage the fund to grow from 158 billion baht in 2001 to 305 billion baht at present.

The fund has 1.17 million members.

Mr. Wisit said the fund believed in good governance and social responsibility and so will invest more in projects that benefit the society.
