Bangkok112 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Seen this recent video about a motorbike crash. Many motorists are driving through the crash scene. Motorbike taxi drivers are doing more work than the police. Surprising or normal? What do you think?
Pomthai Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 The rubber-necking is more of a hazard than the downed motorbike.
FireMedic Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Did you expect the police to do something? There's no money in safely directing traffic. Come one man...get with it. 1
wow64 Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 At many motobike accidents I have seen the moto taxi guys are always first to give a helping hand. I went flying over the bonnet of a taxi here in Bangkok 1 year ago while riding. 4 moto taxis stopped and helped.. Dispite what many say some are great guys in my experience.. Sent from my c64 1
berybert Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 In England the road would have been shut down for 5 or 6 hours. I know which I prefer.
Sviss Geez Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 There may have been more involvement by the police than was obvious, in the area between Nana and Asoke many motorbike taxi drivers are in fact police officers.

Camelot Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Sorry to say that's a normal situation, especially at night. The charity organisations shuttle the victims to hospital.
