Popular Post rasmus5150
Romantic setting must have a different meaning for Russians. Their so called table is an overturned tub used for mixing cement. Their wine looks like Chinese made champagne (200 thb at Tesco/Lotus). But the rose and glasses taken from their hotel room is a nice touch.
Popular Post mcfish
Why would you go anywhere in a foreign country in pitch black surrounds with no help in sight and wait to get mugged? They are lucky to be alive. Maybe they will have better luck in Brazil, Mexico, or Central park New York at night. Fools
Popular Post Gsxrnz
You just know you're having a bad day when you get smacked on the head with your own bottle of (Chinese) wine.
Popular Post Tham1
Pretty sad when a couple not bothering anyone is attacked for no reason and robbed. LOSO Thais strike again and even if these brain dead zombies are caught they will be fined 500 baht or so and let go. This country is going to the dogs due to the corrupt Police and retarded locals

Popular Post Manbing
Nothing smacks of true romance like an upturned cement mixing bin, a plastic rose in a cheap vase ,I mean 'bouquet'; and a rooftop bevvy on the roof of a dirty building in stinking god awful Pattaya. Surely there's a movie in this 'love for the ages' story?

Not on the roof of any building, stinking or otherwise, it was on the helipad at Pratumnak hill.
LennyW
I'm sure they're in a rush to book next year's vacation, and tell all their friends back home what a wonderful place Thailand is. Or maybe telling them how stupid they were to be wandering around an isolated dark area and how lucky they are to be alive.

It's the intention that counts, not how much money things cost and if the robbers wouldn't have showed up, I bet your sweet a** both of them would have enjoyed the occasion.

Or maybe telling them how stupid they were to be wandering around an isolated dark area and how lucky they are to be alive. I have to agree. I know that isolated helipad, and I sure know better than to have a "romantic evening" getting drunk up there at 1AM. It's just asking for trouble. Tourists often employ no common sense and do things that they would not do back home.

Ow fan wan
Looks like Soi 4 Phratumnak? Anyone know? Until the ICE epidemic is brought under control these muggings will be on the up. Pattaya now full of Thai junkies who will do anything to get their next fix.
