Affordable place to stay in a decent location

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I'll head to Bangkok tomorrow and stay for around 25 days. All I need is a room with a decent air-con and a maid that cleans it once every 2-3 days.

The budget I have in mind for lodging is around $1000-1100 at most.

Is it doable?

If someone knows a website or anything, I'd appreciate it a lot.

Any particular area of interest? Bangkok is a huge city!

With that price, you should be fine. It's been a number of years, but last time we did extended stays was at Pathumwan House. It's OK and a pretty good location.

I'll definitely call that place tomorrow

The areas I'm looking for is Silom,Siam,V.Monument,Thong Lo

Thong Lor is not a cheap area. Cheaper accommodations would be in the V. Monument area, even up near Ari.

You've already got a post going in the accommodation finding forum. Since we don't like the same topic across multiple sub forums, I'll close this one. In that other sub forum are some listings for apartments in the classifieds. You might also try bahtsold.com and craigslist.
