Triple entry question from the USA

Featured Replies

Hii,I'm beating myself up again even though I been through this before . I came in on a triple entry issued on Aug 27-14.I entered on Sep 8-14.My enter before date is Feb 26-15 . I think 2 or 3 days are taken off each entry if I'm not mistaken . Does my last 90 days (60 +30) end on May 26 .or May 23-15? I plan on doing a 30 day visa exempt after those dates.

Depends on when you make your last entry.

If you enter on 25th Feb I make it that your last day is 25th May

If you enter on the 26 of February it should be the 25th of may.

You get a bit more on the calender date because February only has 28 days.

I could be wrong, but I believe he would be permitted to stay until the 26th of May.

Are you counting the day of entry as the first day. That is where many people get it wrong.

I used Excel to calculate and using 26 February as day one, I get 26th May too.

They don't take days off, but the day you enter, no matter how late at night, is day one. It's not 90 x 24 hours. If you arrive on 26th May, then 27th May will be your second day in Thailand.

Yes, I know that both entry and departure days are counted.

26th of February to 26th of May (both days included) would be:

3 days in February

31 days in March

30 days in April

26 days in May

90 days total

You don't lose any days for extension, but you do lose a day on a border run. ie the day you leave (say last day of permission to stay stamp) is also the first day of your arrival.

To the OP......curious on process of getting multiple entry while in USA. I think you can go to chicago, nyc or LA...but can you send them anything? also curious on time to receive passport and cost....thanks, sorry for simple questions.

All the consulates and embassy in the US do process mail applications. There are also honorary consuls that may happen to be more local to you.

Not all!

Boston returned my passport and tourist visa with a note inside stating that

I was not to send to Boston anymore as they do not process mail in anymore!

Boston is an honorary consulate, listed below with the others

regular consulates are only Chicago, LA, NY, and the consular section at the Embassy in DC.

PS Chicago Multi Entry, only does 2

While I think Chicago and 2 is likely enough, does anyone know which city does 3?
