Trash & Glam hotel on Lamai beach. Large room with nice view of the ocean and beach, booked via agoda for about 800 bht. Strange feature is the open shower/bathroom, shower is in the middle of the room. Given the price room was ok but next time would rather stay at a different place.

Directly below the rooms is a lounge club. Take a beach chair and some snacks from a beach hawker and enjoy some beach time.

If you wanna go back to basic for your accommodation and sleep at one of the beautiful beaches Thailand has to offer you should come to Bottle beach 2 resort. It has small huts directly on the beach, fan and cold water only. From the bed you can enjoy the ocean and beach in the morning. Huts are about 500 bht per night.

The resort also has a nice restaurant area to enjoy some good Thai food while reading a book or enjoy a beer. Pool table is present, kayaks for rent and just go for a swim.

Trek from Thong Nai Pan Yai to Than Sadet. Nice walk between 2 beaches on the east side of Koh Phangan.

Chaloklum bay at the North end of Koh Phangan. Take the boat from here to get to bottle beach and beyond. Nice little village to spend a day or 2.

Amata resort in Patong beach is a nice hotel. It is made up of 3 buildings, some of them have nicer rooms than the other one. It's about a 5 minute walk to bangla road and the shopping centre. The ocean a bit further and about 10 minutes walking distance. The hotel has 2 swimming pools. One of them is located at the top of the hotel so it has a very nice view of patong.

Back in the days, when Lamai beach still had a few night clubs. Short video of the soi on which Fusion and Supersub are located. The latter is closed for some years already. In this soi a lady boy cabaret is located just besides Fusion. From this soi you cross the road to enter the boxing stadium and bars complex.

Arriving at Thong Nai Pan Yai in a longtail boat from Bottle beach. This bay is quite large and has lots of bungalows at the beach under the palm trees. Nice little village away from all the parties.

Than Sadet on Koh Phangan, one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. Rent a bungalow during low season and you might have the beach to yourself!

Opposite the hard rock cafe in Patong is a night bazaar. You can find some restaurant, shops and a few outdoor bars within the complex. At the end of the day the bars open. A few ladies will help you with a drink and like to entertain you with some games. Nice to have a few beers and some small talk.

A large group of cyclist gathered in Khorat in front of the Yamo statue. It was all about the 'Bike for dad' initiative. Nice to see the Thai being active on their bikes surrounded by police and media.

Today it's Loy Krathong in Thailand. This festival is celibrated on a large scale up north. In Chiang Mai there is a parade, lot's of fire works and of course floating the small handmade krathongs in the river. Many people attend the festivities, both locals and tourists.

Udonthani has a relative large group of expats. Moat of them meet each other in one of the western orientated bars. The day and night complex is such a place. It houses maybe 20 girly bars but you can sit down and have a drink an play some pool without being harrased like in Pattaya. All is much less in your face. Nice to sit down and have a drink watching all go by.
