Anyone who has visited Chiang Mai and the temple on Doi Suthep has seen this spot. The long stairs up to the temple and the little square in front of it with the souvenir shops.

In a corner just before the stairs a group of people gathered and listened to some music. To me it was the sound of an instrument that I've never heard before. A bit mystical. 2 Backpackers playing the hang drum just fitted the location. Very nice to watch!

Bangkok is famous for its nightlife. From high end clubs, sky bars for smaller or bigger wallets, to backpacker cafes and the infamous agogo bars, you can all find it in the city. Not so long ago the American branch of Hooters also opened in Bangkok and they now have two locations in the city on Sukhumvit soi 15 and 4.

A small Japanese restaurant (Kenshin Izakaya) close to Asoke inBangkok. The place is packed during lunch and dinner which is a good sign. Ordered a bunch of dishes when this arrived at our table, raw mackerel which was being prepared at the table. Delicious!!

If you say "diving" and "Thailand" Koh Tao is one of the places in Thailand to visit. Koh Tao is a small island in the gulf of Thailand and famous for its dive spots. Most of these spots are close to the island and in shallow waters so it's the perfect place to get you PADI and explore the ocean.

Spending a few days in Bangkok is fun. The city has a lot to offer to tourist or frequent visitors. Beautiful temples, the royal palace, river cruise or biking around town, you have much choice how to spend your day. But one thing is sure you will be accompanied by a lot of other tourist. So if you want to avoid the mainstream spots and all the crowds try to make a trip over to the crocodile farm in Samut Prakarn.

I remember my old visit to the Pattaya Crocodile farm (10 years ago) )))

Ark bar is the place to be for the young and beautiful on Koh Samui. A lot of backpackers gather in the evening to party until dawn. Spectacular fire shows and trendy music make up for a perfect atmosphere.

The hotel is located within a two-minute walk to the two train stations - Asoke and Sukhumvit-– that connect the BTS (aboveground) and MRT (underground) train systems. The 102 stylishly furbished guest rooms are spacious and equipped with comfortabel bed.

Simple life resort, Koh Tao

Almost opposite the 7-11 at the heart of Sairee beach you will find Simple life resort. It's a fairly large resort with good facilities. All rooms are located a bit from the main street so you will not be disturbed at night by the party people. Check out the link below:

Paradise, the charms of which can be a long list: emerald sea, evergreen island, grottos and caves, beaches ... not Hollywood climbs away from the unique natural scenery.

Centara grand otherwise known as the Red skybar is an exclusive skybar in downtown Bangkok. It's located above Central shopping centre, has 2 floors and a great view of Bangkok. Bayoke tower is so close you can almost see the people enjoying the view at their side. The restaurant is exclusive and you will not visit this place to have dinner on a backpackers budget. What you can do is have a drink and enjoy the views.

Today a video of sunset on Bangkok beach. This beach is located on Koh Samui, just on the flight path to the airport and with a view at Koh Phangan. The beach is not so special and quiet, I only stayed for one night to catch an early flight the next morning.

Taking the plane from Phuket to Koh Samui. It's a short flight of around 40 minuten. If the weather is clear you can see the amazing bay of Phang Na and the islands of Koh Tao, Phangan and Samui. It's a great flight!

A lot of tourist vist the island of Samui, Phangan and Tao. Traveling between the islands can only be done by boat. There are a few companies out there and one of them is Lomprayah. They have large boats that can move a lot of people fast which is ideal for tourists. Also their website is great and works fine when booking tickets.

Many beaches on Koh Tao are rocky and small. But Soiree beach is the opposite. It's a large beach with lots of restaurants and bars. For some quiet please just get to the most northern part of the beach. You can enjoy the sunset while having a drink or dinner.

Again some nice views of Bangkok taken from Cloud47 sky bar. This bar is located close to BTS Saladaeng so easy to get there by public transport. Before or after you can visit the Patpong night market as it's almost across the street.
